The Alliance
multicultural student pictureThe Alliance serves as a resource for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning individuals as well as their allies. The Alliance meets weekly and offers social and educational programming and events  for the UNE community.

Campus International Club
The Campus International Club promotes diversity and acceptance on campus and sponsors cultural events and celebrations from around the world. The group brings in speakers and performers and stimulates conversation on campus about provocative multicultural issues.  The International Club is open to all undergraduate and graduate students interested global affairs.

Latin American Studies Association (LASA)
The Latin American Studies Association is a student group on campus that facilitates exposure to Latin American Studies, culture, and the Spanish language via different educational and artistic activities and events. Now in its third year, LASA welcomes all students interested in Latin American Studies or Spanish language.

Student National Medical Association
The Student National Medical Association is a medical student organization dedicated to people of color and underserved communities. They focus on issues such as recruiting and retaining minority applicants, strengthening alumni/student relations, supporting the College of Osteopathic Medicine’s efforts on increasing minority faculty, and assisting to build a culturally sensitive forum where all students can learn and share ideas.
